Kombucha is a probiotic rich effervescent drink created by the fermenting of sweet tea. A

SCOBY (acronym for Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) is added to the solution and 

over the course of a few weeks the bacteria and yeast feed on the sugar and in return create

beneficial microorganisms that when consumed, populate the human gut, helping to build  

immunity, digestion and overall health.
