Live cultured or fermented foods are naturally pickled by promoting an environment in
which lactobacillus bacteria, among others, thrive. Lactobacillus are naturally present on
organically grown vegetables and when mixed with salt and packed
into a pickling crock these microorganisms magically take over and create nutrient
dense super foods packed with beneficial bacteria. When consumed these bacteria inhabit
